Crested Gecko Morph Builder
Describe two parents and compare the modeled genetic outcomes. Appearance examples show combinations of the selected parental traits.
Generated teaching illustrations. These are hypothetical parents with declared model inputs, not real animals identified from pictures. How the model works ↓
Builder Model & References
Appearance is a description
Each parent can combine base color, pattern, coverage, Dalmatian spots, Phantom, pinstripe, and tricolor. The result galleries enumerate finite combinations of these parental descriptions within each genetic group. They do not assign appearance odds or list every possible real offspring. A heavily spotted animal is not automatically a genetic “super.” White pattern and White Wall do not by themselves prove Lilly White.
Halloween and tricolor are appearance names. The builder describes the selected layers; it cannot identify an animal from a photo or certify a listing.
Inheritance needs known inputs
Our teaching model uses Axanthic recessive inheritance and the one-copy / two-copy breeder models for Lilly White, Cappuccino, Empty Back, and Soft Scale. Enter copy states deliberately. “Unknown” stops combined odds rather than silently becoming zero. An Axanthic carrier can pass a copy without looking Axanthic.
Probabilities have boundaries
Combined odds assume independent loci, compatible Axanthic lines, and the simple inheritance models shown. They describe theoretical conceptions, including high-risk outcomes, rather than survival or hatch rates. Every conception is a new chance.
Each offspring group shows a supported genetic copy combination. Nested appearance galleries keep that group’s same gene copies. Base color, coverage, spots, expression, development, and health are not predicted. Unmodeled influences, including Phantom, are called out beside results and do not receive invented percentages. Soft Scale is subtle and is not visually certified by the illustration.
Lilly White × Lilly White and Cappuccino × Cappuccino can create harmful two-copy forms. The exercise shows why these outcomes matter; it is not a breeding recommendation.

References differ on some mechanisms and names. Gecktopia also identifies game approximations separately from breeding evidence. We use original MJM writing, artwork, and code, and keep appearance choices separate from modeled gene copies. Reference review: October 17, 2026.
